And the Two Collide

The photo I posted earlier today brought to mind a poem I penned one day a long time ago.  You see, things pop into my head now and then…and I write them down.  I have always been extremely frustrated by the fact that I cannot sit down and write something creative whenever I want to.  In fact, creativity is a very elusive thing to me, and it drives me bonkers!  I swear sometimes that my writing is simply a memory of something from a past life…that’s how it pops into my head…like a memory.  It flows from my brain onto the paper effortlessly.  But if you ask me to sit down and write something, I can’t do it.  Simply maddening!

Anyway, all this brings me to the fact that:

A)  My original blog resided at a different address, and since has been inactive and just waiting for me to re-purpose it.

B)  I couldn’t resist putting “that” picture with “that” poem.

C)  I’ve always wanted to try out that cool photoblogging theme.

D)  I don’t think I’ll ever pursue the whole publishing thing, so I might as well start sharing some of these writings somewhere where they might actually be seen.

So, if you’re interested, check out Kanni’s Korner (renamed The Junction…Kanni’s Korner was WAY too korny….)   *tee*hee* over in the blogroll.  It will not be updated regularly, but it’s there nonetheless.  🙂

A Bit More Fall Before it Passes Us By…

The trees are quickly going bare now that we’ve had some rain.  Brown is all we’ll see until the snow washes it clean for awhile.  My girls are complaining already about having to wear their winter coats, but with 33 degree mornings, and afternoons just reaching 55, there is no choice.  (Cue Music Maven…)  😉

Here’s a photo of my backyard taken over the weekend.  That tree is nearly naked today.
