    I’ve heard that, but if you’re photographing something white, you probably need some exposure compensation. The histogram tells the story.

      Thanks Karen!
      I have never used the histogram, and instead have relied on “eyeballing” the exposure…I’m getting better at doing that the more I learn, though not perfect yet! I think it could be handy at times, but I think it might just make the process all the more complicated! lol Although, I’m happy to report that I looked at the histogram of the above photo, and was so excited that it was right on!!! WhooHoo!! 🙂
      I found an article on how to read the histogram that I thought was very easy to understand. (Some just confused me more!!)
