I was mesmerized watching the white, ashy flakes flicking on this smoldering log. Best part of camping is the constant glow of the campfire. The food, of course, is a close second.

I have spent a lot of time staring into campfires and woodstoves. I pretend I’m thinking deep thoughts, but really I’m just . . . being. I like “Texture.” Also, of course, food.
