Hulu.com

I had a new visitor today!  Skepticalsinner just happens to be a Hell’s Kitchen fan, and mentioned on my “I Love Gordon Ramsay” thread that hulu.com has free episodes.  Head on over to Skeptical’s Blog for more info.  Check it out!  The list of shows available, both old and new, is pretty impressive.  Thanks for the info Skeptical and welcome.  I’m thinking a Murder One, Season One marathon might have to be put on my calendar.  Unfortunately, Lost isn’t available.  Sorry Shrew…I know how badly you want to see it.  *tee*hee*

And had anyone heard of this show????

What do you know? America DOES have talent!

Some highlights from last night’s premiere…

Neil Boyd sings opera…

Kaitlyn Maher aged 4.

Baton Boy…David Hasselhoff tells him he can tell all the kids who used to make fun of him to “shove it!”

Nuttin’ But Stringz…very cool.

Jonathan Arons puts Napoleon Dynamite to shame.

And of course, since it’s America’s Got Talent, we need one performance from Bizarro World.  This guy looks more like Britney than Britney does.

So, it looks like I’ll be watching after all.

America’s Got Talent? Maybe. Canadians Got Balls? Definitely.

Well, I just discovered that the spectacle starts tonight.  I don’t know…I can’t decide if I like “America’s Got Talent” or not.  I definitely don’t love it, but I guess I find it mildly amusing.  Let me know if you watch…I might be more inclined to watch if there’s someone out there to make fun of it with.  😉

And you’ll all be surprised to know, I LOVE this show!!!!!  I just found out that Season 2 started June 8th!  You have to check it out.  I discovered it last summer when I was up nightly with Baby Boy…These guys are either very brave, or very insane.

Moving Up

So, Big Girl is Moving on Up…to the Middle School.  *dun*dun*DUN*

She had her Moving Up ceremony last night, and made her parents very proud.  She won an Academic Excellence Award, and she was one of about fifteen kids recognized for their character….very cool!  (This was the last full day of school, the rest will be half days leading up to the last next Tuesday.  I swear each year passes by faster than the last.)

I find it hard to believe that I have a child entering the Middle School.  It seems like she was just hopping off to Kindergarten!  But, I refuse to mourn the stages passed, and I enjoy her company more with each passing year, so I look forward to watching her grow into this new phase of her childhood.  I do look ahead with a fearful eye though, knowing that the next few years will be a test of choices for her, and a test of patience for me.

To honor her night we got her some flowers.  (It’s a good thing too!  The recital flowers were pretty dead, but I hadn’t had the heart to get rid of them.  It was nice to have new ones take their place!)
