Longing…

Scott Thomas’ photos of Ocean City, New Jersey, and the beach shots from Shrew are making me long to go back to the ocean.  Since that’s not possible, I’ll just dig up a few more photos from the trip.  Enjoy our virtual visit to the sea!

Ahhh…can you smell it?  😉

Yes, I can smell it. Ocean City, New Jersey, was a very pleasant surprise. Did you get any Johnson Carmel Corn or Shriver’s Taffy? Great stuff!

Thank you for mentioning my blog and adding me to your list. Off to reciprocate!

    Scott

Thanks for making me want to go back to the ocean, too! 😛 I love the beach! Look at all those seashells, wow!!! Sounds like we need to come east next time, we didn’t find very many in CA at all.

You’re welcome stphoto! My pleasure! Glad to see you stopped by.
Every time we go to Ocean City, Shriver’s Taffy is one of our must-stop stops, as is George’s chocolate macaroons! Mmmmmmmmmmm. Now, the Carmel Corn is something I will look for the next time we’re there.
And Daily, the seashells this time were wonderful! We went out scouting every day at low tide, and came home with a ton. I have yet to sort them all out and figure out what to do with them. lol

I have mine in several glass jars, sitting on a shelf… don’t know what else to do with them (except take pictures 😉 )
How do you get the smell out? I soaked mine in a bleach-water mixture for a few days and that worked pretty well. But, the bleach will dissolve whatever it is that hold the two shell halves together.

    Lovely, KD. Absolutely lovely.

We missed you in Newport but your ears (and Zan’s) should have been ringing. The sites were fabulous and it was really difficult to take a bad picture (but I managed).

Wait until you see Shrew’s repetoire. Her’s are REALLY awesome.
