Jed Bartlet for President!

Geez, I miss this show!  I swear I may write in my candidate.  I may not have agreed with all his policies, but, boy did I love this man!!

One of my favorite scenes…

And how about the start of this debate?

And just a couple more…

Might have to rewatch the early seasons…

What’s the matter Joe Bidden wasn’t the inspiration you hoped for?

Are my “between the lines” THAT easy to read Shrew?! LOL

Okay, so you know I don’t like to talk politics here, but………
    JOE F–NG BIDEN??????????????????????????????
    What the……..???????????????????????

I’m tellin’ ya…..Jed Bartlett is who I’m voting for. Who cares if he’s fictional? So is Jamie Fraser and that doesn’t stop him from being my secret boyfriend.

Good choice, KD!!! I love that freaking show too. I wish they would show the reruns forever and ever on Bravo like they used to! My husband and I were pretty much always up for a Monday night West Wing marathon.

Why is it our TV and movie Presidents (think The American President) act like Presidents and the real ones don’t?

Jed Bartlet wouldn’t make it through our primary system. I am starting to believe our primary system is part of the problem. What i find funny is everyone on the street has a feeling for the person they want for president. Honest, funny, supports the people etc. But they have a terrible time putting a name to those characteristics, so do I. I want my 4th grade teacher, Mr Fararra who put the Lord of the Rings in front of me in 4th grade saying “I think you can handle this.” I want my 11th grade Trig teacher Mr. Mr. Miller who inspired me to an almost perfect grade. I want my father (also a teacher) who has spent a lifetime of being strong, smart, hardworking, and ALWAYS doing the right thing. I want my wife who works tirelessly to raise a family and to teach children to be their best every day. I want my mother in law who is a saint and would be incorruptible in the face of any temptation. I want Oprah Winfrey who I believe is a force for good and would make wise but heartfelt decisions.

I dont think any of the people above would want the job.

Aw, thanks Honey…but no, I wouldn’t want it, and I wouldn’t be good at it, despite your vote of confidence.
stphoto…we’ve joked how maybe it should be the writers of the shows that should run…at least there’s a sense of ethics that comes across in their writings…
Aaron Sorkin is genius…but then again, not sure that I’d want him for President either. lol

See I would want Andy Griffith…but then look who his choice of running mate would be.

I can hear it now…”Citizens Arrest, Citizens Arrest!!!”
