So, we went pumpkin picking this weekend, and thanks to stphoto I was chanting this mantra the entire time. 🙂 Some cropping was necessary on some of these, but I think I’m learning.

A Half Hour a Day 
Hey! You did great! I think digital photography can make people a bit lazy when it comes to composition as you can always crop later in a photo editor. However, since it is digital photography, why not take both a long view and a close up (if possible)? Too much cropping can degrade the image. Getting it the way you want the first time, saves time later because you don’t have to crop.

Yes! I’m still at the point where I notice things once it’s too late! For example, see that second photo? See that stem sticking up on the right hand side of the frame? That darn thing was sticking straight up in the middle! I didn’t notice how distracting it was until I got it home.
The fourth shot had way too much crate at the bottom…again, distracting. And that onion photo was just fun to play with. The others, not cropped. (Yay!) 😉
