Darling Teenager has had a good week! Off came the braces on Tuesday! I have NEVER seen her smile more than I have the last three days. She rarely smiled this big before braces or during.Β
I can’t stop looking at that joyful face. π

She’s beautiful!
Melissa can’t wait to get her braces off, but they still have to stay on a while.
She had them on for 26 months…and was a trooper through the entire process. π
Now she has retainers to deal with, but that’s it. π
Wait, wait–you have posted the wrong photo! You have put up one of a grown woman–one who admittedly has a very nice smile, but who is definitely not a teenager. Alternatively, I am an even older bat than I had feared.
This girl has always looked older, but I’ll tell you, she went from 14 to 18 in a mere two hours of braces removal.
I cannot tell you how happy that smile makes me! π
Her Dad looked at her smile, then whispered to me, “That’s the best money we ever spent.” π
Both my kids will need braces when they are older… I will have to keep this post to remind them that the process will be well worth it in the end.
Stunning smile! (worth every cent!)
We are 18 months into my 14-year-old’s braces; I’m thinking another year before I get to see a braceless smile here.
Lovely smile! Tell her to be good with her retainers!
Both my daughters hated them, both love their smiles today just as your daughter does. Terrific photo. Keep’em coming!
I STILL remember the day I got my braces off at the very young age of 13. Luckily, it was about 1 week before I was to begin highschool so I couldn’t have been more thrilled. I don’t think I stopped smiling for a week! She looks great!
