Remember this old window we found in the basement?

Well, would you look at it now!!!

I will take you on a full tour of the newly painted dining room later in the week and show you where I got the idea for this (*cough*Pinterest*cough*) Off for a family gathering at the lake today.  Must go get in my new temporarily rigged shower!!

Looks great! Fabulous selection of photos, too. I love repurposing old architectral items. I have an old stained-glass transom window on a wall in our bedroom and one of the houses’s original shutters is on a wall in our front hall. Hmmm, but I suppose that isn’t really repurposing as much as simply displaying. Okay, here’s one….I repurposed an old hand-pump from a sink to a fountain in our garden. 🙂

You truly have vision my dulcet darling! Three times i had a hammer in my hand ready to smash out that glass so I could burn the frame and have it out of our cellar forever. It is even more special that the window insert came from our old home. The house that keeps giving to us so much more than just a roof to keep us dry…

Great idea for picture frames and a wall of decor at the same time!
