I agree…i have wondered the same thing about Taylor. I’m guessing that the powers that be see gigantic dollar signs when they look at Cookie, so aren’t likely to say no to too many of his requests. He may very well be AI’s savior, and they likely know it. I make a prediction that next season, his face and Carrie’s will be front and center on the audition backsplash, as well as most visible in the opening sequence. They aren’t going to quibble over trifles such as which song he sings during his post-AI appearances.
