Shrew, I’m with you. Although, it wasn’t quite as bad as I expected it to be. Other than watching Brooke, which was painful to the core, I found myself unexpectedly enjoying most of the night. Soooo glad Carly didn’t sing All I Ask of You—it was my wedding song, so I would’ve had to change the channel.

I found myself wondering how Taylor would’ve handled this past week….I’m afraid it might’ve been a Country Roads for him. Hard tellin’ not knowin’. (In the words of my brother-in-law.)

We here at home are pulling for David Cook, too. Much as I dreaded ALW night, I surprisingly enjoyed his performance. The studio version is luscious.
